As an independent documentary producer, I learned how to listen for the message behind the words. It's a skill — and a privilege — that I haven't forgotten.
I began my career writing, directing, and producing medical programs for consumers and healthcare professionals on nationally broadcast networks, including PBS. What started as a somewhat dry exercise in clinical education evolved into something richer — telling human stories of crisis and transformation. My work has earned four Emmy nominations, and there are quite a few stories I'd still like to bring to the screen.

SareptaCircle consists of families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy — the foundation of the Duchenne community. As the lead copy creative on the account, I researched, wrote, and directed the interviews so that patients and family members could speak for themselves — about diagnosis, hardships, and a joy that endures against all challenges.
