“The universe is made of stories, not atoms.” —Muriel Rukeyser
If you have ever felt the power of a good story (and who hasn't?), you know that everything we do in pharmaceutical advertising is based on this capacity to connect. To reassure. To persuade. It's more than knowing how to present facts on a page—it's creating a connection based on empathy, understanding, and trust.
My work spans oncology, rare disease, gene therapy, CNS, immunology, respiratory, and cardiovascular—primarily for HCP audiences, but with a strong consumer voice as well. I'm at my best when the science is difficult, the category is life-changing, and the challenge is to make the message accurate, memorable, and motivating. As a writer and creative lead, I partner closely with colleagues and clients with creativity and commitment, not ego. The work here reflects those collaborations—and a career spent finding the human meaning inside complex science.

Building Cultural Brands
My passion for science has been a part of me for most of my life. It wasn't until I had spent a few months living the agency life that I came to fully appreciate the incredible power of branding. It's something that permeates every corner of human identity, and when you see it in action, it becomes very clear. We're taking molecules, products, programs, and even abstract concepts, and creating deep and lasting relationships with people. Think about that the next time you bring home the wrong brand of dish soap.
Everyone needs to know, “How will my life change if I make this choice?”
In pharma, we are dealing with health and disease. Life and death. Hope and fear. For patients, questions of survival, safety, and satisfaction prevail. For providers, the success or failure of a product deeply affects the relationship they may have with their patients and their sense of professional fulfillment. Branding cuts to the core of all these concerns, and it requires a deep sense of empathy to earn and maintain the trust of patients and prescribers. That is why it is so satisfying to be able to shape the value and perception of all of my brands—even in the most subtle of ways.
